ISSUER PORTFOLIO SYSTEM (IPS) - FAQ

Account Information. In the top right hand corner of the screen, a small blue box summarizes the name of the log-in bank as well as the city, state and zip code of that bank. The Account Number associated with the bank is listed, as well as the FNC Account Executive, Phone Number and E-mail for the FNC representative. Show me how

Search. If you know the CUSIP of the Issue you would like to search, simply enter it into the box in the left margin and click the double arrows. Show me how

Current Maturities. The Current Maturities link will show all maturities for the “current month,” which represents the current date and the next 30 days. To Update or Delete “Added” or “Hypothetical” issues, double click on that row and fill in the appropriate information. Note that the Average Coupon Calculation excludes Issues with “0” coupons.

Maturities by Month. Select the month for which you would like to view Maturities. They will be listed in order of Settlement Date. The list may be modified by double clicking on a row and entering new information into the appropriate fields. NOTE: Only “Added Issues” and “Hypothetical Issues” may be modified. Those Issues offered by FNC may not be modified. Your search may be modified using Issues or Hypothetical Issues by checking the box. All appropriate information must be entered correctly to run an accurate query.

Active Issues. Selecting the Active Issues link will allow you to view all Issues that are currently active, including those offered by FNC (blue), those Added (brown) and those that are Hypothetical (red)Show me how. To view more detail or edit a particular Issue, simply double click on that row. NOTE: Only “Added Issues” and “Hypothetical Issues” may be modified. Those Issues offered by FNC may not be modified. Use the arrow keys in the shaded grey area when in list-view to see more issues (as needed). Or, when there is more than one page of Issues listed, you can retrieve a specific page by utilizing the drop down menu marked “Page.”

Matured Issues. Selecting the Matured Issues link will allow you to view all Issues that are mature as of the current date. Issues listed include those offered by FNC (blue), those Added (brown) and those that are Hypothetical (red). To view more detail or edit a particular Issue, simply double click on that row. NOTE: Only “Added Issues” and “Hypothetical Issues” may be modified. Those Issues offered by FNC may not be modified. Use the arrow keys to view more issues (as needed). Or, when there is more than one page of Issues listed, you can retrieve a specific page by utilizing the drop down menu marked “Page” and selecting the page you would like to view.

All Issues. To view both the Active and the Matured Issues, select the All Issues link. All Issues will be listed, including those offered by FNC and those that are “Added.” Scroll to the end of the list to view the totals for both Quantity and Total Interest.

Range of Maturities. To view a range of maturities within a specific time period, expand the Range of Maturities link and select the dates you are interested in. Then, click “Search.” Maturities will be listed and will show those offered by FNC (blue), Issues Added (brown) and Hypothetical Issues (red).

Range of Settlements. To view a range of settlements within a specific time period, expand the Range of Settlements link and select the dates you are interested in. Then, click “Search.” Settlements will be listed and will show Issues offered by FNC (blue) and Issues Added (brown). To view more detail on a particular Issue, simply double click on that row.

Settlements: Week View. Selecting this link will produce a view of the settlements for the last calendar week only. You cannot view weeks other than the last full calendar week. This window also reveals the average coupon and average maturity for the week’s settlements.

Add Issue/New Issue. Select the hypothetical box if the query will be conducted as a “what if” scenario. Next, type in the

  • Broker/Dealer name
  • CUSIP number
  • Quantity
  • Coupon type (select Fixed, Equity Linked, Prime - or Libor +)
  • Coupon
  • Select “Callable” (As appropriate)
    • “Callable” is an active button. Once selected, you will have the option to input the date as well as the “Call Frequency” to complete your “Add” detail.
  • BPS
  • Select appropriate Settle Date (Month, Day or Year)
  • Select appropriate Maturity Date (Month, Day or Year)
  • Select Term Length (Day, Month or Year)
  • Select Interest Paid (Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-annually, Annually, or Continuously)

Next, either “Save,” “Clear Fields,” or “Close,” Show me how

 

Sort. After retrieving an Issue list, you may sort the list by

  • CUSIP
  • Quantity
  • Coupon
  • Total Cost
  • Term
  • Callable
  • Floater
  • Settle Date
  • Maturity Date
  • Interest Paid
  • Daily Interest
  • Total Interest
  • Next Pay
  • Next Pay Interval

The Average Coupon amount, Years of Average Maturity and years at Current Maturity will be shown in the shaded gray area across the top of the grid. Show me how
